AC Installation in St. Louis
Whether you’re replacing a system at the end of its life or installing central air for the first time, we help you find the right system at the right price. With over 30 years of installations across the St. Louis metro, we know what works in our climate and what lasts. Most residential AC installations are completed in a single day. We give you a clear timeframe before we start, keep the work area clean, and make sure your system is running and properly calibrated before we leave.

Heating
Furnace Installation in St. Louis
St. Louis winters demand a furnace that’s properly sized, efficient, and built to last. We install gas and electric furnaces from every major manufacturer, with a strong focus on Trane high-efficiency systems. Our installations include load calculations to ensure your furnace matches your home’s actual heating needs — not oversized (which wastes money) or undersized (which leaves you cold). Every install is finished with proper combustion testing, airflow verification, and a thermostat calibration before we leave.
Heat Pumps & Boilers
Heat Pump & Boiler Installation
Heat pumps are increasingly popular in St. Louis — they handle both heating and cooling from a single system and qualify for federal tax credits. We install electric and dual-fuel heat pumps sized to your home’s load. For older homes with hydronic systems, we also install and service boilers, including high-efficiency condensing models. Whichever system fits your home best, we’ll walk you through the options, the rebates, and the long-term operating cost honestly.

Repair vs. Replace
When Is It Time to Replace?
A straight answer based on your system’s age, repair cost, and efficiency. As a general guideline: if your system is over 10–12 years old and the repair exceeds $1,000, replacement usually makes more financial sense — especially with today’s more efficient units lowering monthly energy costs.
Signs it’s time to replace:
• System is 12+ years old
• Repair cost exceeds $1,000–1,500
• Recurring breakdowns each season
• Energy bills climbing despite normal use
• R-22 refrigerant system (discontinued)
• Uneven heating or cooling between rooms
What you get with a new install:
• Load calculation — properly sized
• Factory-certified Trane installation
• Strong manufacturer warranty
• 15–30% energy bill reduction typical
• Quieter operation & better humidity control
• Eligible for federal tax credits & rebates

Common Questions
Installation Questions, Answered Honestly
How long does a typical HVAC installation take?
Most residential AC or furnace installations are completed in a single day. Heat pump and combined system installs sometimes run 1–2 days. We’ll give you a clear timeframe before we start, keep the work area clean, and make sure your system is running and properly calibrated before we leave.
How do I know what size system I need?
We perform a proper Manual J load calculation based on your home’s square footage, insulation, window orientation, and ductwork — not a rule-of-thumb guess. An oversized system short-cycles and wastes energy; an undersized one runs constantly and can’t keep up. We size every install correctly.
Should I replace my AC and furnace at the same time?
Often yes, especially if both are over 10 years old or if one has already failed. Matched systems are more efficient, the labor cost is lower when done together, and you’ll have a single warranty period to track. We’ll give you an honest assessment based on the age and condition of each unit.
Do you offer financing for new installations?
Yes. We offer financing options for qualifying customers through manufacturer programs and third-party lenders, with multiple term lengths available. Call (314) 471-7625 and we’ll walk you through what’s available.
What brands of HVAC equipment do you install?
We are an authorized Trane dealer, and Trane is our recommended brand for most St. Louis homes due to reliability and warranty support. We also install Carrier, Lennox, American Standard, Rheem, Goodman, and York systems based on your preference and budget.
Am I eligible for tax credits or rebates on a new system?
Many high-efficiency Trane systems qualify for federal tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act, and Ameren Missouri occasionally offers utility rebates. Heat pumps generally have the largest available credits. We’ll show you what your specific system qualifies for before you sign anything.
What’s included in the installation?
A full install includes removal and disposal of the old unit, equipment delivery and placement, refrigerant line and electrical connections, ductwork modifications if needed, thermostat installation and calibration, system startup, performance testing, and a walkthrough so you know how to operate everything.
How long does a new HVAC system last?
A properly installed and maintained AC typically lasts 12–18 years, a furnace 15–25 years, and a heat pump 12–15 years. Trane systems tend to perform at the upper end of those ranges. Annual maintenance is the single biggest factor in actual system life.
